When I got the text from my friend Mary Poulter that her entire family was looking to have portraits taken, I got excited. I hadn’t seen Mary in a few months; we were both involved in theatre at Judson. In meeting her family, I began to realize where she became so talented!
We took a drive into Davenport, Iowa to visit LeClaire Park. This park was gorgeous. We were able to have a few different looks and it made an afternoon in the great outdoors so much fun!
Mary is a great musician as well. I met Mary in my first week at Judson and she has been a dear friend to Ashley and I over the past few years. We’ve shared many laughs and good times; it’s impossible to recall them all. Getting the the chance visit her and her family was a blast! The entire Poulter family are just great people. It was quite the relief to get out of the city and visit friends in a town not so unlike the one I grew up in. What can I say? I love small town communities.
